East of England
Ambulance Service
Graham Sharp
I joined East of England Ambulance Service in 2007.
Prior to joining the Ambulance service I spent most of my working life carrying out various roles within the Fire Service. This is where I became interested in pre-hospital medical care. I left my last post with Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service in late 2007 to take the big step and train as a Paramedic.
I started my new career as a Student Paramedic and since then have had on going training for the last 2-3 years. Last year I completed the certificate in Higher Education in Emergency Medical Care and in early 2011 I finally qualified as a Paramedic . I am based at Kings Lynn Ambulance station and work on both Ambulances and Response cars.
In my spare time I try and keep fit by running and cycling and enjoy watching and riding motorcycles…………and it wouldn’t be complete without going out to socialise!!!
